07:23 pm: Things and stuff
I don't post here. I have my own blog, written in Esperanto. I'd like a domain name, but I seem to be too stupid to figure out how to get one (see this thread).

My blog is on WordPress. It's great. If you have a host with PHP and MySQL, you can make your blog anything you want it to be. Currently I'm paying my host $12 a year for no ads. Like I said, I'd like a domain name, which would be an extra $10 or so a year. WordPress is free (both as in speech and as in beer).

I currently have two plugins for WordPress. Renard is the result of what I worked on in Google Summer of Code 2007. Renard strives to make editing themes more easy by allowing you to use a special editor that converts back and forth between PHP functions and HTML-like tags.

More recently, I've begun working on Bojo, a simple mechanism for adding Twitter-like functionality to one's blog.

04:35 am: What accent do I have?
I found this through Sonja's blog entry. I'm not sure it's accurate, but I love this type of thing.

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

The Northeast
The Midland

Hmm, LiveJournal seems to not allow you to post a comment as from a non-LJ member. Meaning, I either have to be anonymous or get an account. And let's not even start on OpenID; not half as good as TypeKey.

Oh well, now I can comment here. Check out my blog if you're interested.
